This project deals with menstruations in the life of a woman and its importance in the development of her identity. I approach the subject from the perspective of the female strength within the sensitivity and the coexistence of women with the menstrual cycle. This project emerges from the observation of this phenomenon in diverse cultural groups. On the one hand, I come from an urban context, where menstruation is seen as a discomfort in the life of women, as a period of emotional imbalance and where a large variety of products are advertised to relieve its symptoms, so that it has almost become a chronicle disease.My investigations have leaded me to finding this same concept in many religious environments of diverse cultures, which make a natural biological cycle looks like a disease or a punishment.
